Umpqua Bank Grandstand Venue Information
All Washington State Fair Concerts and Rodeo events, as well as the Spring Fair Motorsport Mayhem take place in the Umpqua Bank Grandstand, located at the North end of the facility. The closest parking lots to access the Grandstand are the Gold and Red lots.

- Code of Conduct
Patrons are responsible for their own conduct as well as the conduct of their guests and/or persons using their season tickets. Venue staff will strive to maintain an atmosphere where all in attendance can enjoy the concert and performances.
Please be courteous and respectful to those seated around you and refrain from behavior that interferes with others’ ability to enjoy the show. Remember that every attendee wants to enjoy the show. Event staff will strive to treat all guests in a consistent, professional and courteous manner.
Your safety is our top priority. In addition to already existing safety and security measures, the following conduct must be followed in order to enhance the safety and overall concert experience for everyone.
When attending a show at the Washington State Fair, you are required to observe the following:
PROHIBITED ACTIVITY:
- Behavior that is unruly, disruptive or illegal in nature.
- Intoxication or other signs of alcohol or substance impairment that results in irresponsible behavior.
- Verbal or physical harassment of other guests and staff members.
- Clean Air Zone: No smoking of any kind (tobacco, vaping, marijuana).
- Entering without a ticket: Guests must keep their event ticket or get a hand stamp to return to the venue or certain seating areas.
- Sitting in a location other than the guests’ ticketed seat
- No blocking, standing or gathering in the aisles. Aisles must remain clear, for emergency exiting if needed and per Fire Code.
- Foul or abusive language or obscene gestures.
- Interference with the progress of the event.
- Failing to follow instructions of event staff.
WHAT CAN I BRING?
- You may bring in food and non-alcoholic drinks. No outside alcoholic beverages are allowed. Concessions are available at various locations in and around the concert venue.
- Purses, backpacks and other bags are allowed, all items are subject to search.
PROHIBITED ITEMS:
- Weapons of any kind are not allowed.
- No cameras with detachable lenses.
- Any form of camera stand (monopods included).
- Selfie sticks.
- Audio/video recording devices.
- Laser pointers/glow sticks.
- Drones.
- Umbrellas are not permitted during the show.
Event patrons and guests in violation of the Code of Conduct may be subject to ejection, arrest, and/or loss of ticket privileges for future events. If the behavior of a patron or patrons nearby become disruptive or violates the Code of Conduct, the incident should be reported to the nearest staff member or security person. Patrons shall also comply with requests from venue staff regarding venue operational and emergency procedures.
- Infant & Toddler Seating
All guests who have reached their second birthday must have a ticket. Children less than two years old may enter without a ticket but must sit on a guardian's lap.
- Security
We are committed to a safe environment for our guests; therefore, security screening may take place at all Umpqua Bank Grandstand entrances. Security screening includes metal detectors and bag searches. Weapons are prohibited. If you are unable to enter through a metal detector you will be subject to a pat down search. Guests who decline security measures or are found with prohibited items will be denied entrance to the Grandstand.
- Photography
Photographers at Washington State Fair Concerts: Upon artist approval, only point-and-shoot cameras (without detachable lenses) are allowed. Selfie sticks are not permitted. Video and Sound Recording: No video or sound recording equipment allowed.

- Tickets
For your convenience, accessible ticket windows are located at the Gold Gate Box Office, both inside and out. We recommend that guests with disabilities purchase their tickets in advance to obtain desired seat locations. Wheelchair seats that are not purchased during an advanced sale period (which may vary depending on the event) may be released for sale to the general public before the event. Questions regarding disabled seating and wheelchair accessibility can be directed to the Ticket Call Center at 888-559-FAIR (3247). Up to 3 additional companion seats may be purchased based on availability
- Sign Language Interpreter
To request an interpreter for Grandstand Concerts, please contact our ADA Coordinator at 253-841-5073 or kim@thefair.com at least 72 hours in advance. Requests made after that may not be accommodated.
- Designated Aisle Seats
Designated aisle seats are for those capable and comfortable moving from their wheelchair to and from the venue seats. The individual must be capable of exiting the venue without a wheelchair in case of emergency. These seats are available for purchase through Box Office.
